In this tutorial I will teach you how to do pencil effect to your designs

1 :
Start out by creating a 500 x 500 pixels document.

2 :
Create A new layer
Open the picture you want to add effect for it
Now you should have something like this

3 :
Change the blending mode for the layer from Normal to luminos

4 :
Now Go To Filter -> Stylize -> Find Edges

Result
